With 70% of businesses having no form of formal cyber security, tech company Evaris wants the UK government to make protection mandatory. With the number of cyber security attacks on the rise and 43% of businesses targeted in the last year, one tech company is petitioning to make online security mandatory. Evaris, an IT security firm, is urging the UK government to make it a legal requirement for companies with up to 250 employees to join the existing Cyber Essentials certification scheme.
